PRODUCT FAMILY

The STD-7100 product family is the efficient solution for the supervision, control and automation of substations and plants.
Based on the UTR, 3 compact devices (19” case and 3U height) were developed for dedicated applications.

USR – Alarm Signaling Unit
Provides a quick indication of occurrences for operators in the substation. Each panel signals 32 alarms and has communication ports for sending events.

UCD - Data Concentrator Unit

UCD is a compact device that brings together to the main funtions of the UTR. Developed from of RTU project, it uses the same set of configuration and monitoring software.

Its main funtions are:

  • Data Concentrator. Acquire information via communication channels innumerous IEDs;
  • Gateway. Supports communication protocols. Can communicate with up to 8 HMs/Supervisors; 
  • Data acquisition via digital or analog inputs;
  • Executes commands via digital outputs; 
  • Execution of logic for automation and interlocking;
New Projects – GPS Watch
  • New project using components SMD (highest MTBF);
  • IRIG-B timing signal, PPS and PPM (TTL/DC-Shift level);
  • Low cost;
  • Easy installationor in the UTR STD (uses the same space of LCD display of old GPS);
  • It can be used in other systems that require a synchronization source;
UAC – Acquisition and Control Unit

The main application is the control and supervision of substation umbay or auxiliary service panel.
It has an LCD display, navigation keys and command keys.

UCC – Communication Concentrating Unit
The main application is to be a gateway establishing simultaneous communication between operation centers and IEDs in various communication networks. The UCC can have up to 13 serial communication ports and 2 Ethernet ports.

UACT – Telecom Control Acquisition Unit
The main application is the supervision and control of remote telecommunications stations. It was developed with two analog inputs to measure battery bank voltages of up to 100Vdc.

Services in UTR

With the guarantee of the best service provided with our products and with the objective of maintaining continuity and partnership with our customers, STD offers several types of services for UTR STD-7100 equipment installed in substations.

Database configuration

STD offers configuration services for your equipment in response to the integrations to be carried out. Services are performed in an office and cover remote support during implementation and tests conducted at the substation by the customer. Noting that STD will always be available to provide technical support for its products to its customers.

CPU upgrade

The new UP604 CPU modernizes and increases the UTR's processing capacity. It is compatible with existing hardware, requiring no additional modifications. The upgrade service can be carried out on a one-time basis without other needs.

As many RTUs operate for several years with only occasional corrective maintenance, adding other testing and diagnostic services brings gains in reliability.
